Why Hudhud House

Authentic Arabic, from someone who lives it

Most Arabic and Islamic printables for our kids are made overseas from English-only templates. The Arabic is often an afterthought — wrong letter forms, awkward phrasing, or clip-art culture.

Hudhud House is different. Every title is designed by Hudhud House, a native Arabic speaker in Saudi Arabia, so the script is correct, the words are ones children actually hear, and the tone honours the deen it teaches.

The name comes from the هُدْهُد (hudhud), the hoopoe bird of Surah An-Naml — the little messenger of Prophet Sulaiman (peace be upon him), and a gentle symbol of carrying knowledge and good news.

  • Correct, native Arabic — real letter forms and natural vocabulary, checked by a first-language speaker.
  • Bilingual for real life — Arabic and English side by side so diaspora parents and kids learn together.
  • Respectful of the deen — own-worded reflections, surah names and ayah numbers, du'as referenced to trusted collections.
  • Yours to keep — print for your own family as many times as you like, forever.

I make the resources I wished existed for my own family — Arabic done properly, deen taught gently, and simple enough to actually use on a busy weeknight.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get my files after I buy?

The moment your order is complete you'll see a download link, and a copy is emailed to you as well. Your digital products are print-ready PDFs — just download, open, and print. You can re-download from your receipt link whenever you need to.

What do I need to print these at home?

Any home printer works. Each title comes in both US Letter and A4 sizes, so choose the one that matches your paper. For the best results, print on regular or slightly heavier paper and select "fit to page" if your printer asks. Prefer not to print at home? Send the PDF to any local print shop or online printing service.

Can I print the pages more than once?

Yes. Your purchase is licensed for your own personal and family use, so you can reprint pages as many times as you like — perfect for multiple children or worksheets you want to redo. Please don't resell or share the files; see our Terms for details.

What's the difference between the digital and paperback versions?

The digital version is an instant-download PDF you print yourself and can reuse forever. The paperback (available for the Alphabet Book and Hifz Journal) is a professionally printed book that ships from Amazon — a great gift or a grab-and-go option. The content is the same thoughtful, bilingual material either way.

How does the Notion template work?

After purchase you receive a duplicate link. Open it while signed in to Notion and click "Duplicate" to copy the whole template into your own free Notion account, where you can edit and use it however you like. You'll need a Notion account (the free plan is fine).

What's your refund policy?

Because our digital products are delivered instantly and can't be returned, all sales of digital downloads are final. The one exception: if a file is faulty or won't open, email us at hello@hudhudhouse.com and we'll fix it or make it right. Paperbacks are sold and fulfilled by Amazon and follow Amazon's own returns policy.

Are the Islamic materials appropriate and accurate?

Yes — this matters to us. We use our own-worded reflections, refer to surahs by name and ayah number, and cite du'as to well-known collections (such as Bukhari, Muslim, and Tirmidhi). Any Ramadan or Hijri dates are provided as guidance and are subject to local moon sighting. Everything is designed to be gentle, family-friendly, and respectful of the deen.

What ages are these for?

The Arabic Alphabet Activity Book is aimed at roughly ages 3–8, but works for any beginner. The prayer tracker and hifz journal suit children and adults alike, and the Ramadan planner is built for the whole family together. Many customers buy them as gifts for their own kids, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Still have a question? Email hello@hudhudhouse.com and we'll be glad to help.
